Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Among new Disneyland rides is Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. This is inspired by Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 2. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is a video game ride where you sit on a 2 seater Buzz Lightyear car with 2 laser guns and score counters.

The car moves on a track and you can shoot as many targets as you can. You can see the score by your gun. You are on your own with the score, you are not working in a team. What you shoot is your score. What your partner shoots is his or her score. So shoot!

One of you will also be driving. You can turn the car to face more targets. After the ride, you will know your score and on your way out, you will have an opportunity to enter your email address for the photo of your ride to be emailed to you free of charge! This is neat since many Disneyland rides take pictures of your but charge you at least $16 if you would like them. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is one of the only Disneyland rides that will give your pictures to your email address for free.
